In Year 2 at East Sheen Primary School, children continue to build on the knowledge and skills they’ve gained in the earlier years, with exciting new challenges and enriching learning experiences. This year is full of exploration, discovery, and creativity as we dive into a variety of engaging topics such as the Great Fire of London, the history of the seaside, and the lives of inspiring figures like Florence Nightingale and Mary Anning.

In Year 2, students develop their critical thinking skills, improve their reading and writing abilities, and engage in hands-on activities in subjects like science, geography, and art. We also love to go on trips and visits that bring our learning to life, offering real-world connections to what we study in class.
