Year 4
Welcome to our Year 4 page! In Year 4 at East Sheen Primary School, children embark on a year filled with discovery, creativity, and new challenges. With exciting topics like World War II, the Romans and Celts, and the geography of the UK and Italy, Year 4 is an opportunity to explore history, geography, and the world around us in depth.
This year, students will enhance their skills in subjects such as science, where they’ll investigate forces and states of matter, and art, where they’ll create projects inspired by different cultures and time periods. Hands-on activities, trips, and workshops make learning engaging and memorable.
Year 4 is also a year of growth, as children develop their independence and teamwork skills through exciting experiences like our residential trip to Henley Fort. With swimming lessons, chess, and a wide range of extracurricular activities, there is always something fun and enriching happening in Year 4.
Be sure to check in regularly on this page to see all the exciting projects, trips, and achievements throughout the year!
