International Learn to Swim Week: Water Safety Awareness

In celebration of International Learn to Swim Week, the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) has shared a helpful water safety booklet. Aimed at children aged eight and older, this booklet provides essential information on how to stay safe in both pools and the sea. It also highlights potential hazards and offers general water safety tips for various environments.

At East Sheen Primary School, children begin their swimming lessons in Year 3 and continue in Year 4, where they learn valuable water safety skills as part of our curriculum.
