We have four fantastic trips in Year Two.
Our first trip in the autumn term is to our local Pizza Express in East Sheen. The children enjoy first hand experience of making a pizza which helps them back at school in literacy to write their own instructions. Learning about the different toppings on their pizza also supports their learning in our science topic ‘Health and Growth’.
The Science Museum is our next exciting trip. Here we find out about lots of different materials and how they can be used. We also visit the launch pad for more hands on fun and often have workshops such as The Bubble Show. Also in the spring term we have a trip to the National Archives in Kew in order to see the documents and research the evidence that exists about The Great Fire of London.
