SEND

The term Special Educational Needs and Disabilities covers a wide range of problems which vary in severity and persistence. Children may experience difficulty with learning in certain areas of the curriculum and some may have social, emotional, behavioural or physical difficulties. We are proud of our support programmes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

We also have a specialist resource provision for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)difficulties. There are places for 3 children in KS1 and 3 children in KS2. The aim of the provision is to support children to be fully included in mainstream school. For more information go to our Phoenix & Nurture Room  page.

“Pupils with learning difficulties and/or disabilities make tremendous gains and are given all the support they need to realise their full potential” (Ofsted, September 2008)
